Today in Salem, Oregon, V5iD CTO Alexander Altotsky delivered an engaging 45-minute presentation at the Oregon Bankers Association’s Bank Operations Roundtable titled “Financial Fraud in 2025 – How Criminals Steal Your Money.”

The session explored the latest tactics used by fraudsters and demonstrated how advanced identity verification technology can detect and prevent these threats. Highlights of the live demonstrations included:

  • Identifying counterfeit IDs
  • Showing how facial aging impacts recognition and comparison
  • Detecting VOIP numbers used in fraudulent activities
  • Displaying authentic identity documents under infrared light to reveal hidden security features

All demonstrations were conducted successfully, showcasing the speed, accuracy, and versatility of V5iD’s solutions. Attendees showed strong interest in V5iD’s kiosk technology and its role in fighting financial fraud.
