V5iD Platform Update: Real-Time Verification Progress, Expanded Device Integrations, and Enhanced Verification Intelligence

We are excited to announce a series of enhancements to the V5iD Identity Verification Platform focused on improving verification transparency, expanding hardware integrations, and strengthening fraud detection across our Portal, API, Verify, and Kiosk products.

A major highlight of this release is the introduction of Real-Time Verification Progress. Operators can now follow each stage of the verification process as it completes, providing immediate visibility into document analysis, authenticity checks, face validation, and final verification outcomes. This capability is now available in both the V5iD Portal and Identity Verification Kiosk.

We are also expanding the V5iD hardware ecosystem with support for selected MagTek devices and a redesigned device onboarding experience. Organizations can now integrate supported devices directly into verification workflows, enabling real-time barcode-based age and identity validation through the V5iD platform. Combined with new device management capabilities and a guided setup wizard, these improvements simplify deployment while laying the foundation for future integrations with additional identity verification hardware.

To further strengthen fraud detection, V5iD now includes Barcode Authenticity Analysis, expanded AAMVA validation checks, and country code validation against ISO standards. These enhancements provide deeper insight into document authenticity and help identify potentially manipulated or fraudulent identity credentials.

Verification accuracy has also been improved through expanded infrared security analysis, more comprehensive face validation, and new face filtering capabilities that help eliminate well-known public figures and other non-applicant faces from verification results. Together, these improvements increase confidence in identity verification decisions while reducing false matches.

Additional enhancements include live verification progress streaming for API integrations, a new verification refund workflow, evaluation plans with automatic billing transitions, expanded visa document support, and numerous usability improvements across Verify and Kiosk experiences.

These updates reflect our continued commitment to delivering intelligent, transparent, and scalable identity verification solutions.
